UMP is ISO 9001:2015 certified. If necessary, we offer full quality control data packs with Quality Control Plans as an additional service. The UMP ISO system is designed to accommodate clients’ Quality Control requirements for data packs and traceability of raw materials used throughout the manufacturing process.
In the cases where we manufacture machines, we conduct factory acceptance testing with clients as part of the final Quality Control process.
UMP’s casting machinery, sourced from Europe, uses the latest technology available for the polyurethane industry. Polyurethane provides superior abrasion resistance in demanding applications such as the transport of abrasive slurries, including mineral processing, mine tailings disposal lines, wet ash lines at power stations and mineral sands transport slurry lines.
From our state-of-the-art facility in Eastleigh, Gauteng, UMP exports to countries in Southern Africa, the Middle East and Europe, as well as North and South America. Depending on the nature or size of the requirement, our engineering team is able to undertake the work at our facility or on-site.
